RMF Covid-19 Supply Chain Update

RMF Installation & Services Ltd Supply Chain Update 27 March 2020

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic

This update supersedes the update issued to our Supply Chain on the 16th March 2020.

Please note that the following information is applicable at the time of issue; we will continuously review and amend our planning in line with UK Government and World Health Organisation advice and communicate accordingly.

Following the Prime Ministers statement regarding the COVID-19 pandemic on Monday of this week, we have implemented changes to the way we are working as a business to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved.

You will be aware that government advice regarding the construction sector was initially somewhat unclear, however it is now apparent from subsequent statements that construction works are able to continue providing the relevant safeguarding measures are taken on site.

RMF Installation & Services Ltd - Construction Site working

Where it is safe and practical to do so, we will continue to work on project sites that remain open. Several measures are being discussed and implemented to enhance the safeguarding of all personnel on site. These include, but aren’t limited to, the below:

- Adherence to all on site procedures

- Social distancing of the workforce to a minimum of 2 metres apart

- Enhanced use of PPE equipment and Toolbox Talks

- Additional hygiene cleans

- Segregated areas of work

- Use of private transport rather than public

We will continue to work with all Site Managers and H&S teams on all sites and our teams are working closely with all contractors to ensure we comply with the requirements of each site.

All office based team members are now working remotely however the main office number has been diverted and all teams have phone, email and system access. At present all of our office teams are working as per BAU.

Our warehouse and logistics team remain on site however the aforementioned criteria for safe working practices are being adhered to.
