RMF MD runs alongside Champion athlete David Moorcroft OBE

RMF MD Mr Ian Jones, gave a presentation to top business leaders at a recent Chamber of Commerce seminar, Ian spoke of the recent Olympic project award for RMF, he highlighted the UK Construction Industry is responsible for 32% of landfill waste *source construction waste stats 2012,  and his experience to current attitudes to sustainable products and actually how “sustainable” are sustainable products.

He went onto comment that “he is aware that some companies do in fact charge premiums for their sustainable products, this leads to a potential reticence to utilise them and moves the buyer away from responsible procurement practices”. He added “ RMF continually work hard to pass through the savings achievable to the clients or end users of the RMF ECO range of products”

David Robert Moorcroft (born 10 April 1953) is a former middle-distance and long-distance runner from England, and former world record holder for 5,000 metres. His athletic career spanned the late-1970s and 1980s. He subsequently served as the Chief Executive of UK Athletics from 1997 to 2007. He received an MBE in 1983 and an OBE in 1998 for services to British sport. Moorcroft is still the UK record holder for 3,000 metres.
