Manchester Eco Range Fit out

RMF were instructed to install our Eco Range second user recycled raised flooring system into a CAT-B office fit out project in central Manchester. As a repeat and regular customer our client knew the multiple benefits of installing a recycled system from both a cost saving and environmental perspective.

RMF’s scope of works included installing our Eco Range into 319m2 of the seven story building, the second user tiles were installed onto all new steel pedestals to suit a finished floor height on 100mm. Following a site visit we also ascertained that approximately 270m2 of the existing raised floor already in the building could be retained thus further reducing the cost to the client and ensuring an additional reduction in the environmental impact of the project.

The project spanned over 7 floors and we agreed with the client that as a variety of systems were in situ that we would re-level all floors, this involved the manual lifting of all panels row by row and re-seating them and the correct level. We also trimmed the panels being re-levelled where necessary as required to ensure the flooring grid to sit correctly.

To ensure the clients project ran on time and to budget we worked collaboratively with the site teams ensuring that all deliveries and re-levelling plans had been agreed prior to commencing works. At RMF we pride ourselves on our effective communication that partners seamlessly with our skilled installation teams work. We understand the constraints of a live construction site and the requirement for everyone to be kept informed and we are pleased to report this project was delivered on time and in budget.

As with all of our Eco Range projects we randomly test and provide a full warranty for the Eco Range panels as you would expect with a new system. The RMF Eco-range offers our clients an excellent value engineered solution for all CAT-B works and we have no doubt that given it’s ability to reduce the environmental impact of a project that it’s popularity will only continue to grow.
