23 Queen Ann St - CAT B

RMF were delighted to have been appointed as the sole raised flooring contractor on the £10m re-fit of 23 Queen Anne St. The property is the Head Office of The Howard de Walden Estate and a heritage building due for a refresh.

RMF were appointed as part of the CAT-B internal fit out to install new medium grade raised floor throughout the building. Our works were as follows;

Supply and install 1,600m² of new medium grade PSA raised floor

Supply and install 200m² GIFA floor

Due to the heritage nature of the building we were required to install the raised floor to a low void to ensure the ceiling heights required under building regulations were achieved. The installation of pedestals at low voids is a challenging install particularly in a heritage building where the sub floor is often not smooth. The quality installation handed over to the client is a testament to our skilled raised floor installation teams and their consistently skilled work.

RMF were also required to manually move materials throughout the building following the removal of the hoist prior to our works, this requires co-ordination with other trades and the main contractor to ensure this is done in a safe and non-disruptive manner.

RMF’s works were delivered in line with programme and yet another quality installation completed. To work with a team confident in installing raised floor in heritage properties contact us on 01926 425289.
